video games

Post  rizla on Fri Nov 06, 2009 2:55 am

hi guys, as ive got me self an xbox 360,and have managed to get through a couple of games, i was wondering if there was enough interest on here for a topic on video games. ok iam getting to be an old fogey and iam really crap at em, not even sure if "video games" is even the right name for em. so lets have a shout from you lot which games youve played, good uns bad uns. anybody stuck at a certain level, can any body help out.who fancies, as murph sugested a while ago, about getting a squad online?
ive just started brothers in arms "hells highway" finding it both challenging and difficult, but when ive managed to clear a round iam most chuffed withmyself. have completed COD 2,3,4, good games, but not as challenging as hells highway.
so guys , over to you lot.

rizla

ps, yes its nearly 3 oclock and yes ive just been playing bloody hells highway for 3 hours, time for bed before i chuck the controller at the boddy telly, cos iam stuck scratch

Hells Highway is a tough one but I do think it's better than many others, I can only manage about an hour on it before I begin to feel a bit woosey though, I end up breaking out in a cold sweat and get a headache Crying or Very sad

You will find a few Rangers on xbox live, but a lot of the guys have moved onto the PS3 as you get on-line for free.

We used to get together on COD3 and have some great wee battles, my 360 is away to Germany to get fixed just now (the dreaded ring of death).

I've had a PLAYSTATION 1 for years and it's never faltered, lots of people have talked about X-BOXs packing up. You don't seem to hear that about the PLAYSTATION 3 unless I'm mistaken. Perhaps it's further proof Wullie of sticking with originals?

I believe you could be correct, the 360 is VERY likely to breakdown, I have now sent 4 to Germany, albeit at no charge, to be fixed, plus one that we threw out. So 5 out of 5 have broke Rolling Eyes at least they are consistent. Evil or Very Mad

I'm quite happy to create a Video games thread on the forum. It would be good to get a standard game where we could all play each other online...

Gentlemen- choose your weapons.....

oh...and game....

Oh...and games console.!!

As far as I am aware if we go on-line with the X-BOX 360 on say a game like Hells Highway we can actually talk to one another using the microphones provided etc. I have to say it would bring an interesting dimension to our forum. What do we need to do to set it up?

hi murph, iam no expert, but i found it quite easy to go online, once you have got online you just look up your friends list to see if there online. and yep, if your all playing the same game you can fight together or each other.
