Pippingford Park 21-22 April 2012

Post  TonyM on Tue Apr 24, 2012 2:38 pm

As promised, here are the first of the photos.
Day One.
Getting kitted up to leave.

The scouts find a stream and look for a dry way across it.

Whilst the .30 Cal covers them.

And the Mortar team make ready to support.

Ok guys here's the other half of day one.

After the attack it was time for Pvt 'Dixie' Dean to have a nap.

And the Mortar and .30 cal team take a break.

Meanwhile, Cpl 'Murph' Brophy tries to find himself.

On the MLR it's time to start digging.

And get the .30 cal covering the road.

More to come later Wink

Excellent piccies, which if I may, will add to compliment the article for group mag.

Richard, my new rule for you (I apply it to myself) is that you must never wash your kit! LOL. I reckon four more days or events wearing that kit and you'll start to look nicely rag tag!!!! rabbit

Btw I do like that picture of Sam and Richard walking along, both look fecked!!!

Feel free to use which ever ones you want for the group mag.

By that stage, about 1030-1100 on Sunday, we were all knackered Sleep Sleep

BTW, here's a pic of Richards boudoir, complete with memory foam pillow Laughing

Oh ffs, the 'Pick on Richard weekend' has continued into the following week!!! Sad
Yes I was a bit clean, so no clothing will now be washed. My belt looked a bit loose as well. As Sam says it was knackering and the pillow is not memory foam it is latex... Razz
Seriously though those are some great pictures and just goes to show what we can all achieve.

Cheers

Richard.

Richard, you deserve credit for attending, I can't talk I slept in the car on Saturday, at least you had the foresight to bring a cot and so forth. You are a valued member of the team mate.

Here's the last lot.
SSG Major gives them hell.

SSG Major looks for some more Germans

Pvt O'Dwyer contemplates the war.

A little bit of mapreading

Reporting enemy positions.

A smiling Cpl Brophy.

And Pvt Cammack.

And a couple of the vehicles.

Tony- absolutely superb!!! Looking forward to collating the article. My minds is in overdrive with this one. I've spoken to Murph about my ideas for the article and I'll say no more than that.
