Ammo can colour Empty Ammo can colour

Can anyone tell me what colour paint is best to use. I have had to remove most of the original colour to clean off rust and damage. I was going to go for the same paint as for helmets but it looks a bit light scratch

I got some colour matched to two different shades of helmet- happy to spray up. No two ammo cans are ever alike, I got four all with different shades!!

A local model shop. It's 'Humbrol Dark Green' spray. The is also an 'Olive Drab' which looked similar to the paint I used on my helmet.
