BTW I dont think the sprokets in the background of the first two photos are part of it Laughing

EDIT. Admins would it be an idea to have a motor pool section on the forum Idea

You said it was a project Ben! No kidding there then. Best of luck, I have got an Airfix instruction manual somewhere.....
Really have got to convince the missus to get a small Dodge weapons carrier! (Btw about as much hope of us having a warm summer at the moment). Sad Crying or Very sad

mmmmmmmmmmmmm well i stripped my gsxr down to the bare frame to have it powder coated and re-built it myself, iam no expert, but i would say you need 2 wheels cheers

seriously though ben, ide love to help out on re-building the bike, well chat at skeggy, if not before. if you need anything de-rusting, get it ready and ill take back home and take to work and dunk it in the acid.

Ben if the wheels need to be re-spoked I have an excellent bike man in Southend. He used to do all the respoking for my Raleigh Chopper restorations.

Thanks for that Paul. To be honest, I looked into it and I think it might actually work out cheaper to buy new wheels. Did your fellow provide the spokes and everything? Any idea what sort of price he'd be looking at for an 18" wheel? The spokes are $160 a set, and I need a rear hub and rim!

I think he used to charge about £30 front and back. He supplied the spokes. Obvioulsy doing a motorbike one might be more. He had most spares- what after market spares Harley do they do?
