M1916 Holster Leg Tie
Hi all,
Recently bought a 1943 Holster but the leg tie wasn't really tied well. Anybody have any idea how to tie them properly or have a link how to tie them up in the coiled position?
Cheers
Matt

I thought that one end was coiled around the other 'strait' end and knotted at the bottom Matt. I hope that makes sense cus it’s real hard to explain lol!

IIRC...its been a long time
Pass through the eylet,
go about 4 inches down and make a loop back up to the holster, hold both bits together,
starting at the top tight to the bottom of the hoslter, wrap the remaining cord around making your way down to the loop at the bottom,
pass the two ends through the loop that you formed,
hold the holster and the wrapped around section in different hands and pull away from each other this should pull the inner strands up pulling the loop closed and trapping the ends...
holding it all tight...
If that makes any sence whatsoever

Cheers Les,
My knot tying is probably not the best in the world but I'm happy with that. Thanks for the info.
