New Years 2013 at the Blitz Party, London

Great venue, some great looking people.. not sure I would take the jeep again!! Didn't get home until 0510!

I really enjoyed the event, something different. I'm usually standing taking abuse from the public on New Years! Long journey down and back primarily due to road closures, we made it home for 0515 hours. If I did it again it would have to include an overnight stop and probably public transport into London.

Or Chez Costin- but I wouldn't take the Jeep again. Only downside were two punters out of the 2000 there, who wanted to be idiots, everybody else was reasonably well behaved!! I've never had my finger bitten at a Living history/ww2 themed event- another first!

So, in terms of a future booking of the group by the organisers, what do you reckon?? Any chance and worth doing if asked???

It might be worth doing again, possibly a summer time gig though. Problem with New Years Eve is that everyone is headed the same way!

Ok Johnny, spill the beans, who bit you and what were you doing to deserve it???

Pissed up girl, bold as brass, went into the jeep and stole some of those small US Flags... words were had, and she ended up biting my finger. Lets just say her exit from the premises was added "robustly" by the door staff, as she want kicking and screaming..

Our little spot seemed very popular - and I guess we had our uses to the organisers too, with the 'sidewalk' patrol etc.
We must have been pretty convincing, as that guy was insistent that we take action against another bloke whom he claimed had just punched him!
Hmmm, glad I didn't meet Miss Finger Biter though...

I put it down to our uniform look. Countless people thought we were "staff"!!
