Cheers! Lady luck was on our side when I found some suitable footage. I tried without success to get a newsreel type audio...

Team effort, I took on board the suggestion of take some shots from different angles (which never occurred to before) and then cutting them in to each other. A work in progress but I'm learning!!!!
