Shelter Half for sale

I thought I would offer this out to the group before I went elsewhere as it’s now surplus to my requirements.

1x Shelter Half (so not a full tent), it’s original and 1945 dated. The Shelter Half was made by Cleveland Overall. The date/maker stamp is still in good condition and viable as is the U.S. marking.

I have used this half with another to make a tent (in the rain) and can confirm it’s still waterproof. Or was I too drunk to notice?

It’s the later war type as it has flaps at each end to close up. It has buttons NOT poppers.

Some of the ropes used to peg this down are missing and some attention may be needed as it’s getting slightly tatty now.

There are no major rips or tears.

If you’re interested let me know. Looking for £25 for it. I think that’s reasonable looking at what some go for but if you think not then let me know!

I can bring it down to the AGM for anyone who wants to view it.

indeed it is sam and i had a very good night sleep in that pup tent they are definately worth buying

I have four halves like the one described, I only use them to fill packs now (I have 4 tan ones that I use), if anyone wants one I would be happy to sell.

lol I have a thing for tents, just got a second pyramidal as well, could probably provide shelter for over 40 men now.
