Raising fuds for Malvern
Hi lads
Ok I’m having a clear out before Malvern to hopefully generate some funds to spend on yet more kit lol!
So hear it goes if you like anything PM me or post up.
Uniforms
Ike Jacket- Post war but the same as a WW2 one- Small size 34R. 1 small moth hole that I can see otherwise very good condition. £15
Wool Trousers- MINT condition so ideal for Class A’s. As the gas flap over the fly hole. Dated 11/09/37. The lable reads 32 x 33 however I think they have been taken in (originally) as they have been re-stamped as 31 x 33- £40
Class A Jacket- Very early example made by Philli QM Depot- Dated Nov 11 1932- Fully lined jacket, garrison belt hooks removed- It has a 3rd Army patch on it however I’m almost sure it isn’t original to the jacket but I have left it on as it was there when I bought it. There is no size but I would guess that it’s around a 37/38 Regular - Looking for £50
M43 Trousers- Approx a 32/32- These are Norwegian Army issue so the same a WW2. These are generally considered as being better than most re-pro M43’s as these were actually built for combat!- £20
M51 Wool Shirt- Looks the same as a WW2 EM Shirt however a little darker shade- made by U.S. Acad and is mint- No date approx 38R 15 ½ collar. looking for £15
Webbing
OD pistol belt- £5
U.S. Army Non-combatant Gas Mask M1A2-1-1. I bought this years ago and it’s absolutely MINT. The gas mask and carry bag have never been issued. Although it comes in a tan bag that looks like the training gas mask bag I think it’s for people working in military bases but who are civilians. Looking for £30 for it as that’s what I paid for it.
Pair of Brit Army L-Straps- Very faded but still serviceable, brass fittings date faded- £6
Pair of Brit Army L-Straps- 1 issued 1 not both have brass fittings. One dated 1955 can’t see a date on the issued one- £6
Brit Army fold up wire cutters without pouch- dated 1938 £10
X3 Brit army cross straps all are in good condition- Only can see one date on one and that’s 1944 all have brass fittings- £3 each.
Brit Army WW2 water bottles- I have around 10 of theses. All have had their covers painted black at some point. The water bottles are in good condition and many of them have replacement corks- All the covers have brass fittings but as there are allot of them I am unsure of date- Looking for £10 each.
If you’re interested in any of the above the n let me know- I can deliver to Malvern or if you can’t make Malvern then I can bring anything to the AGM.
If you want pics then let me know and I will see what I can do for you. If you want any other info then let me know!
Cheers

Re: Raising fuds for Malvern
Thats OK mate I will keep a look out for any wools on ebay.
Found some more stuff to sell now!
Webbing etc
P14/17 bayonet- American made with Brit Leather scabbard- Nice condition and looks like it hardly been used- £50
BAR Belt- Original WW1 conversion. The metal cup that was designed to hold the butt of the BAR has been removed and a pouch added to convert it to the 6 cell WW2 version- This is a bit of a mis- mach belt but has dates of 10th and 11th 1918. Makers are L.C.C. & Co. On the right side one of the eyelets are missing otherwise the belt is in a very nice and useable condition- £40
Pistol Belt-Tan and WW2 however I can't find dates- This has been spray painted for 509th- £10
OD Green canteen cover- Issued but still in good condition- It may be post war made but I'm not sure. Can't find any dates or maker marks nor a U.S. stamp however the soldiers name and address is on the cover via a small lable that has been sown on the inside- £5
Army Combat Service Gas Mask- It looks like the D-Day assault gas mask bag however this is the later version as it has lift the dot poppers for closure- Really nice condition and all stamps are readable and is stamped 44 on the inside- £25
Patches
Repro/post war issue 5th Army patch- £3
Repro USAAF Patch (never used)- £3
Original USAAF Patch- £5
Pair of Class A collar insignia with clutch back fasteners- £6
Re-pro Glider Artillery garrison cap patch (never used)- £5
Books
all are paper back and have been read- All have the usual wear and tear of reading however so me have further damage and have been highlighted below.
A blood dimmed tide- The battle of the Bulge by the men who fought it- £3
D-Day by Stephen Ambrose- £2 as it's slightly damaged
The Boys Crusade- American G.I's in Europe- £3
The Battle for the Rhine 1944- Arnhem and the Ardennes, The Campaign in Europe- £2 as damaged but still readable
The Battle of the Hurtgen Forest £3

Re: Raising fuds for Malvern
Sam is the gas mask bag the canvas version that looks like a ladies clutch bag or the rubberised D-Day type?

Re: Raising fuds for Malvern
If it's got the LTD fasteners, it's no good for a WW2 impression.
Cheers,
Ben.

ben's right Murph- It looks like the rubberised assault one but wasn't used in WW2 as far as all the pictures say.
