Bushey Living History event 2009 3rd Infantry Div/FSSF MTO
This was a one day attendance for GI44-45-tab on any image to go to the whole album.
With our newest member James "Tex" Morris we teamed up with the 1st SSF for a static display. A great venue, close enough for all to attend, and a possible venue for future GI44-45 meet8ings and tacticals!!!
A first for Private Rizla, having seen too much of Battleground he decided to eat his rations out of an M1 helmet

Looking good Paul! I think it's going to be easier for you to buy some more bumpers for that Jeep!

It seemed to have more goin on than Waltham, although I didnt get to see all of it. The FSSF guys were friendly and have offered the site as a venue for future GI44-45 meetings and tacticals

hi guys, just got in from work, knackered lol. got in last night around 10.30. nice event, lots to see. small museum withh lots of original kit and several other displays, massivley outnumbered by geeeermans. lovely weather, nice people.
super hospitality by mr and mrs costino, many thanks paul.
james enjoyed his first event and is allready talking about kirby. oh and i thought up a name for him by this- real name james morris,--- austin morris (car) austin texas, so jim morris aka jim morrisson from austin texas--tex
also the guys from the fssf have a nice brick built building they have refurbished and turned into a bar, and the next room they are planning a small dormatory offering groups the chance to stay over weekends, play in the very nearby woods and provide food, this might be a good idea for us to have a private poto shoot/trainning weekend/meeting as its fairly central to all members.
yup a nice weekend, and if we had got ALL our kit and tentage etc together, we would have blitzed every other group into the weeds and shown em what a display should have looked like.

You're the only person I know who can sit in the back of a moving jeep and fall asleep!!!
Mind you, me and Murph did at Bastiogne-but it was minus 14 and we had hyperthermia!

Paul, did you get any shots of COAM?
I wonder if it might be worthwhile to add both of these to the website gallery, just so that we can showcase some of the events that we have already attended.
Cheers,
Ben.

I was sound asleep at one point wedged in the back of that half track, just before we ran out of gas!
