East Kirkby 82nd Airborne
Well whikst Paul was at Gunpowder Mills the rest of us were haveing a little play around with a C47. We were told that the C47 was a D-day and Market Garden Vet and carried the 82nd A/B so made it even more special to be so close to it!
Anyway these are my pics, I know Ben had loads more than me and some good ones, but hear is a selection of my own, enjoy!

When she overflew our camp and waggled her wings on Sunday morning it was awesome, so much so I actually had a tear in my eye, just could not help myself.

Re: East Kirkby 82nd Airborne
Just as an aside, this is the same C-47 that the Liberty Jump Team use for their numerous Jumps over Normandy. It will be used again in June when the team will be jumping over Angoville-au-Plain and their night drop over Liesville-sur-Douves.

Re: East Kirkby 82nd Airborne
I was thinking of redoing the album structure actually, to allow us to add a new album after an event, maybe with a report too? I don't mind writing the reports. What does everyone else think? Here's an example of another group's gallery I designed, and I think it works really well:

(ignore the question mark characters).
Cheers,
Ben.
