Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I promised Sam at the weekend that I would get these (long overdue) photographs of the group I took in Normandy in posted up.
Cheers,
Ben.

Fantastic picture indeed chaps - not a thing out of place. This is certainly a photograph the group can be proud of. I especially liked the others you brought along to Rougham.

Bloody great! That looks spot on! it could be on the cover of an album, each of us is just looking that little bit posed but individual none the less.

Re: France 2009 101st Airborne
It's occurred to me that this look is easily achievable for all members who can't yet get themselves Class A dress. Most of us have the basics, add a tie and hey presto you look smart, call it a sort of 'walking out dress'.
We could have it as a kind of standard evening dress at events where there is a beer tent or a trip to the pub, that way everyone can be included, not to say we can't wear Class A but even if some of us are Class A it would not look out of place alongside don't you think?

Re: France 2009 101st Airborne
Agreed- we nearly all have M42's- Sam came up with the idea in Normandy and its a good one. Obvioulsy if everyone has class A's we dont need to do it. But it does look good.

Re: France 2009 101st Airborne
and is more comfortable than Class A's if your going to wearing them for a while.
We just need un-reenforced jackets as that would look better!
