Ye never know.... Cool actually, no, you guys will be next door in a comfy bar and billet...

Murph, the Force had them in at least November '43 in Italy, after much research and speculation, I reckon they got them from the Marines when they swapped the RS explosives for the Johnny guns (around this time the Marines where changing to cammo (?) and these where old stock...Also, I reckon the neoprene helmet bands where thrown in as part of the deal aswell)....I posted a couple of photos on pozzi forum;

Patrol does stuff and goes somewhere (usual story, Force veteran takes patrol out to the woods in Englind, does a recce, and rummages about... Laughing Or if ye want, somewhere in Italy, and boy does it rain here 😉 Shocked );

Following on from the poncho debate on the pozzinet, have a USMC poncho dated 1939 with the snaps on the collar, it's not tan or khaki, but OD green, light green...It's still packed away and will post a photo once it's out and I can get a photo....As a matter of interest, it's exactly the same as this ebay item no: 200401465206
Cool Cool
