27-28th March 2010 Chiltern Open Air Musuem
Chiltern Open Air Musuem (COAM) was host to probably one of the first publics show of 2010 that GI44-45 were in attendance, teaming up with Ranger Re-enactments .
This event was well attended by an abundance of quality living history groups and the “war-walks” proved to be a good idea, and the feedback from the public was good.
My thanks go out to all concerned that made this event as enjoyable as it was, and for the chance to meet new friends and socialise with some great people.
Below are some of my favourite pictures of us portraying members of the 78th Infantry and 2nd Rangers , late war 1945. For the full album on webshots, as usual, “tab” on any photo.

As I said on the WWII Forum, Paul, looking good. I can't see many Ranger bumper markings though!

Ben.

Nice pictures Paul. I must admit I've been looking through some of the photos on the wwii forum and there does seem to be a lack of photos showing vehicles or thier markings

Well I heard somebody walking out of our barn during the night, the door opening, thinking somebody was going for a comfort break, but i dont recall them returning!!! Lots of "orbs" over our photos...but other than that fine-and-dandy...

Its a great venue, went on the very first one when I was with the FAAA, many moons ago. Pics are good, like the boy soldiers one, you dont see many with very young looking GI's (lol).
